CYSI Workshop on Cyber Crimes: Guard yourself in the cyber-space

Cyber Society of India (CySI) is a non-profit voluntary organization of computer savvy individuals with a commitment towards the society to enrich awareness about the use of computers. The Society has been conducting regular workshops and seminars focusing especially the security aspects, cyber crimes and risks involved in an e-transaction etc.. CySI is now organizing a Workshop on 

?Cyber Crimes: Guard yourself in the cyber-space? 
on Saturday, 6 August 2016 from 10.00 AM to 5 P.M. 
at Henry Maudslay Hall, Anna University, Chennai. 

Who should attend? 

Middle and senior level officers from banks engaged in I.T. Dept, Inspection, I.S. Audit, Vigilance and HR and those officers in Information Technology and related industries and tech-savvy individuals who are avid users of e-mail, internet and the electronic delivery channels of banks like ATMs, e-Banking etc may attend. No deeper knowledge of any particular software is required. A user-level awareness of operating systems, browsers and technical terms will suffice. 

Registration fees per participant is Rs.700/- for members of Computer Society of India, IEEE and ISACA, Chennai and Rs.900/- for others. Fees include lunch, tea and coffee with snacks and other study material like printed hand-outs or CD/DVD if any. 

Hon?ble Justice P.N. Prakash, Judge, High Court of Madras will inaugurate the workshop. Dr J.N. Misra, CEO, IIBF, Mumbai will deliver the key note address. Shri G.R. Swaminathan, Asst Solicitor General, Govt of India Madurai bench of Madras High court, Shri Naa. Vijayashankar, Cyber Law Consultant, Bengaluru, Smt Nappinai, Cyber Law Advocate, Mumbai and other prominent speakers will address the various sessions. Topics covered include safety in Online Banking, Role of banks in cyber security, Safety in WhatsApp and Facebook and digital evidence.
